the vision for
SIDESADDLE
(About US)
we love queer women.
we love art.
we love Austin.
we want a way to connect. with our friends, with our neighbors, with the strangers standing in line at HEB. we want a way to understand each other -- the entire ATX community -- and what better way to do that is there than through sharing our art with each other?
in a time where connection is fragmented and creativity faked with AI, we're answering with vulnerability: a collection of poems and 2D art straight from the pens, brains, and hearts of queer Austinites.
the first edition of our chapbook is coming soon, and we hope you'll be a part of it -- either by submitting or purchasing a copy. after we cover printing costs, all proceeds will go to OutYouth, a central Texas organization that supports LGBTQIA+ youth in a number of ways (find out more about them here!)
